Lactation Support

Mother Baby Bonding

As a Certified Lactation Counselor, I’m here to support you with whatever feeding looks like for you.

That might mean talking through how your body makes milk, figuring out a painful latch, managing milk supply, learning to pump or hand express, or making a plan for going back to work.

Whether you're preparing ahead of time or needing help in the moment, I’ll meet you where you are—with evidence-based info and no judgment.

Currently offerings include:

  • in-home lactation counseling

  • private prenatal lactation classes

  • postpartum lactation support

Lactation Counseling

from the comfort of your home

After baby arrives, feeding and newborn care can feel overwhelming—and that’s where in-home lactation counseling comes in. I come to your home during this tender transitional time to offer personalized, evidence-based support with things like latch, feeding challenges, and finding a rhythm that works for you, your baby, and your family.

This isn’t a one-size-fits-all approach. Together, we’ll take time to look at what’s going well, where you might need more support, and what your feeding goals are—then we’ll troubleshoot and make a plan that feels right for you.

Initial sessions are typically 2–3 hours, with follow-ups lasting 1–2 hours, depending on your needs.

Initial Appointment: $150

Follow-up Appointment(s): $75

Private Prenatal Lactation Class

from the comfort of your home

Breastfeeding

Breastfeeding may be natural, but that doesn’t always mean it feels intuitive—especially in the early days. These private, in-home prenatal lactation classes are designed to help you build a strong foundation before baby arrives, so you can feel more confident and prepared when the time comes.

We’ll cover the basics of lactation anatomy, how your body makes milk, common feeding positions, and what to expect in those early days and weeks. We'll also talk about what’s normal, what’s not, and how to know when to reach out for help. With the right information and realistic expectations, most people are better able to meet their feeding goals.

You can choose from two class options:
✨ Essentials Class – A brief, focused overview of chest/breastfeeding basics and what to expect in the early days. Typically this class is 60-90 minutes in length. Cost: $150.

✨ 2-Part Series – Two sessions with more time for in-depth discussion, video demos, hands-on practice with positions, and space to talk through questions or concerns. Each session is 60-90 minutes in length. Cost: $250

Whether you're planning to breastfeed, combo feed, or just want to be prepared, this is a great way to start your feeding journey feeling supported and informed.

*A quick note about the lactation support I offer:

There are so many great options for lactation support in our area, and as a Certified Lactation Counselor, I’m just one piece of that puzzle. My role is to offer an extra layer of support for new clients, as well as my birth and postpartum clients—not to replace more advanced lactation care when it’s needed.

I love working alongside local IBCLCs, ENTs, pediatricians, chiropractors, OTs, and other providers to help you feel supported and confident as you work toward your own unique feeding goals.
