If you’ve been considering doula support but weren’t sure if it fits your budget, here’s some exciting news: many insurance providers now cover doula care!

I’m thrilled to share that I accept the following insurance plans:

OHP Pacific Source

Moda OEBB & PEBB

Kaiser Permanente OEBB & PEBB

Providence OEBB & PEBB

YCCO

With these plans, doula services typically include 8 total visits, which can be split between prenatal and postpartum care, as well as labor and delivery support. That’s comprehensive care for your journey into parenthood!

How Does It Work?

Insurance plans vary, so I encourage you to verify your benefits with your individual insurance provider to confirm what’s covered and whether there are any out-of-pocket costs. I’m happy to guide you through this process or answer any questions you have along the way.

What’s Included in Prenatal and Postpartum Visits?

Prenatal visits focus on preparing you for labor and birth with:

  • Birth education and personalized planning

  • Physical and emotional preparation

  • Guidance on comfort measures and coping techniques

Postpartum visits are all about supporting you and your family as you adjust to life with your new baby:

  • Breastfeeding and infant feeding support

  • Emotional check-ins and recovery tips

  • Help with routines, baby care, or light household support

Need additional postpartum visits? No problem! I can tailor our time to fit your unique needs—whether it’s an extra set of hands, someone to talk to, or guidance as your family transitions.

Having doula care isn’t just about having someone there on your big day—it’s about holistic, ongoing support for you and your family during this transformative time.
